Alumnae Experience

The Mu chapter is paired with the Seattle Area Sigma Kappa Alumnae chapter. All members who graduate from the Mu chapter and those Sigma Kappa alumnae that live in the Seattle area are invited to be active in this chapter. The alumnae chapter holds some of their own events such as monthly book club meetings, family friendly activities, and chapter meetings.

We invite our alumnae to big events hosted at the chapter house such as Initiation and Order of the Triangle Ceremonies. We connect our alumnae and collegiate members by hosting events such as Founder's Day, a mock preference ceremony for recruitment practice, and other various occasions where we pair alumnae and collegiates to network.

We send out quarterly newsletters to our alumnae to keep them up to date with current events and news that pertains to the Mu chapter. The most recent newsletter is attached at the bottom. There are many ways to stay involved with Sigma Kappa post graduation. Many alumnae are active in the alumnae chapter, and others stay even more involved by joining our Advisory Board or Corporation Board. Having an alumnae chapter nearby that is a great way for us collegiates to connect with older Sigma Kappa sisters and enhances the sisterhood aspect of our sorority.
